The Peterson Family is often referred to as "Minnesota's First Family of Music." Everyone in the Peterson Family is a musician/singer.

Jeanne Arland Peterson:

The story begins with the late great Jeanne Arland and Willie Peterson. Mpls Star/Tribune music critic Jon Bream wrote about Jeanne, prior to her 90th birthday celebration: Jeanne Arland Peterson is the grande dame of Minnesota jazz. Not only has she raised five children who are professional musicians, but she has amassed Minnesota Music Hall of Fame-worthy credits. 22 years in WCCO Radio's house band. Performances with jazz stars George Benson, Sonny Stitt and Roy Eldridge, and entertainers Bob Hope, Perry Como and Red Skelton. Jeanne had 7 albums....her last being "Dare to Dream, Jeanne Arland plays Harold Arlen." This was a live CD/DVD, and it really shows Jeanne's incredible improve skills.

About Linda Peterson:

Linda is an international recording artist, song writer, pianist and vocalist. She has appeared at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival several times. Linda has five CDs to her credit, two of which were recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark and the most recent CD, recorded in Buenos Aires with famed Argentine guitarist, Luis Salinas. A new CD of Linda’s original compositions was released in the summer of 2015, entitled “You Gotta Be Somewhere”. Linda lives and works in Palm Springs, California during season and travels to Florida, Minnesota and Europe and South America to work during the summer months.

About Patty Peterson:

Patty has received the coveted Minnesota Music Award 7 times for best vocalist as well as best jazz recording and in 2010 she was inducted into the Mid America Hall of Fame. Patty has released 4 solo recordings, featuring the likes of Sheila E., David Hazeltine, Stokley Williams, and Ira Sullivan, as well as her mother, Jeanne Arland Peterson and her brothers, Billy Peterson, Ricky Peterson and Paul Peterson. Patty is currently working on her 5th solo recording for a release date in mid 2019.. Patty has hosted radio talk shows, she's been an actress, a model, appeared in numerous commercial voice-overs and jingles, and has performed the national anthem at several major venues.Patty is also the host of her own weekly contemporary jazz show on KBEM 88.5FM

About Billy Peterson:

Billy is one of the premier, most celebrated bass players in the world. His uncompromising talents as a performer have brought him widespread recognition, as well as his plenty credits as a composer, arranger and producer. So it is no surprise that the world-renowned bassist is quite often also compared with a chameleon, but not only as he can fill many positions, but also as he is at home in several genres of music whether it be rock, pop, R&B, soul, jazz, folk or country. Billy contributions to the music scene are inestimable and his imagination and boundless enthusiasm behind the bass are singular and stunning. During his extensive musical career, the permanently in-demand bassist has worked with many internationally famous, acclaimed artists, among them Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Prince, Les Paul or Steve Miller, just to name a few.

About Paul Peterson:

Prince discovered Paul Peterson, aka “St Paul,” at the age of 17. He enlisted him as a keyboard player in “The Time” for the movie “Purple Rain.” He took the

vocalist spot in the Prince produced group “The Family” before becoming a solo artist and scoring hits for MCA and Atlantic Records. Paul has recorded, toured or written with Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, Prince, George Benson, Oleta Adams, The Corrs, Kenny Loggins, and Morris Day and The Time to name a few. His band, fDeluxe (formerly The Family) is celebrating the 34th anniversary of their Prince produced record with a few select shows around the country. Paul has recently put together "St Paul and the Mpls Funk All Stars," consisting of musicians and producers who helped to create the Mpls Sound.

About Jason Peterson DeLaire:

Jason is proficient on keyboards and saxophone, as well as being a talented singer, songwriter and producer. Currently touring as the Saxophonist/Keyboardist with Michael Bolton, he has also toured and/or recorded with renowned artists such as Prince, Alexander O’Neal, Richard Marx, Donny Osmond, Oleta Adams, Solo, Cherrelle as well as Bobby Brown, Ben Sidran and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis’ Flyte Time Productions. Jason attended Berklee School of Music in Boston, studying film score and musical harmony. He is a well-rounded and versatile performer of classic jazz and R &B and has earned a reputation as a solid touring accompanist and ‘front’ solo performer. His debut CD “In My Life” received critical acclaim during the inauguration of President Barack Obama for his reflective lyrics.
